• CITY OF ST. ANTHONY <br />HOUSING AND REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY MINUTES <br />May 28, 1985 <br />The meeting was called to order by Chairman Sundland at 8:36 P.M. <br />Present for roll call: Sundland, Vice Chair Enrooth, Secretary/Treasurer Marks, <br />and Commissioners Ranallo and Makowske. <br />Also present: David Childs, Executive Director. <br />Motion by Commissioner Makowske and seconded by Commissioner Ranallo to approve as <br />submitted the minutes of the meeting of the Housing and Redevelopment Authority which <br />was hbld April 23, 1985. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br />Motion by Secretary/Treasurer Marks and seconded by Vice Chair Enrooth to approve <br />payment of $4,500 to Federal -State Relocation Consulting Services, Inc. for consulting <br />services related to the relocation of existing businesses and tenants on the Walbon <br />property for the redevelopment of the 29 unit Village Townhouses of St. Anthony. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br />• The consulting service had submitted to Mr. Childs the amounts of relocation assistance <br />which would be due under Minnesota Statute 117.52 to the Walbon Partnership; Walbon <br />and Company, Inc.; and to the renter in the company building. The Executive Dir- <br />ector indicated the benefits to be paid Hyman Freightways and Dave and Kenneth <br />Gunderson would be submitted later. Although the H.R.A. members indicated they <br />perceived these benefits to be quite high, the amounts dictated by the statute <br />ruling were accepted as follows: <br />Motion by Secretary/Treasurer Marks and seconded by Commissioner Ranallo to authorize <br />the payments of relocation claims in the amounts of $4,500 to Ms. Tammy L. Hanson, <br />renter; $32,000 to cover Walbon and Company's actual moving and related expenses; <br />and $2,500 to the Walbon Partnership to cover business relocation and displaced <br />business claims. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br />Motion by Secretary/Treasurer Marks and seconded by Vice Chair Enrooth to adjourn <br />the meeting at.8:45 P.M. to view the new Village sign model presented by Wil Johnson <br />of the St. Anthony Marketing Committee. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br />Respectfully submitted, <br />40 Helen Crowe, Secretary <br />
