-z- <br />Mr. Kuross commended Mr. Krier and Westwood Planning for the excellent <br />job done during the study process. <br />• Motion by Mr. Kuross and seconded by Mr. Kelly to pass the following <br />resolution on to the Council for their consideration. <br />"Whereas, the City Council has identified the Kenzie Terrace area as <br />an area in need of a study for possible revitalization; and <br />Whereas, in order to accomplish that goal, the City Council appointed <br />the Kenzie Terrace Task Force; and <br />Whereas, the Kenzie Terrace Task Force, in coordination with and the <br />service of a consultant in its meetings, studied the options available <br />for possible redevelopment; and <br />Whereas, in its studies the Task Force has determined that redevelop- <br />ment is desirable and to accomplish that redevelopment it is necessary <br />to form an H.R.A. <br />Now, Therefore, Be It Resolved, that the Kenzie Terrace Task Force <br />recommends to -the City Council that the City Council hereby appoint <br />an H.R.A. for_the City of St. Anthony. <br />Be It Further Resolved and Recommended, that the Kenzie Terrace <br />Revitalization plan and also that part of the plan identified as the <br />Kenzie Terrace Redevelopment Plan, dated May 18, 1981, be considered <br />as a guide for the H.R.A." <br />• Motion carried unanimously. <br />The Task Force requested the minutes show the above resolution was <br />carried without dissent. <br />Mr. Krier reviewed, for the Task Force, the methods of financing/tax <br />increment plan as contained in pps. 34 through 39 of the Kenzie <br />Terrace Redevelopment plan dated May, 1981. <br />Motion by Mr. Marks and seconded by Mr. Madden to revise westerly <br />boundry of the land use plan, identified as Exhibit B in the Kenzie <br />Terrace Redevelopment plan, to make it commensurate•�ith the acquisi- <br />tion map, identified as Exhibit C in the same plan. <br />Also, to change item 3 of A3, page 7 to read. <br />Change some use of the area from warehousing and single family to <br />integrated mulit-family land use. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br />Mr. Krier agreed to make the necessary revisions. <br />,0 <br />
