EXTRACTS FROM THE MINUTES OF A <br />REGULAR MEETING OF THE COUNCIL <br />OF THE CITY OF ST. ANTHONY, <br />MINNESOTA, HELD ON THE 23rd <br />DAY OF JUNE, 1981 <br />The City Council of the City of St. Anthony, Minnesota, met in <br />regular session at the City Hall, 3301 Silver Lake Road, on the <br />23rd day of June, 1981, with Sally Haik, Mayor, presiding. Those <br />present were as follows: <br />Councilmen George Marks, Richard Letourneau and Mayor Haik. <br />Absent: Councilmen Robert Sundland and Clarence Ranallo. <br />The following resolution was introduced by Councilman Marks who <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION 81 -- 047 <br />A RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR A HEARING <br />TO DETERMINE THE NEED FOR A HOUSING <br />AND REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY TO <br />FUNCTION IN THE CITY OF ST. ANTHONY <br />WHEREAS, The Minnesota Housing and Redevelopment Act, <br />Chapter 487, Minnesota Session Laws of 1947, creates a "Housing <br />and Redevelopment Authority" in each city in the State, but <br />provides that such an Authoritv shall not transact any business <br />or exercise its powers until the governing body of the city by <br />resolution shall determine that there is need for an Authority to <br />function in the city; <br />THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the <br />City of St. Anthony, Minnesota: <br />That on the 14th day of July, 1981, at 8:00 o'clock P.M., <br />at the City Miall, being the time and place of the next regular <br />meeting of the City Council, this Council shall determine: <br />
