CITY OF ST. ANTHONY VILLAGE <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION 16-062 <br />A RESOLUTION AWARDING A BID <br />FOR THE MIRROR LAKE STORMWATER QUALITY IMPROVEMENTS <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the improvement as shown on the plan for the <br />above - referenced project, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law, and the <br />following bids were received complying with the advertisement: <br />Total Bid <br />Sunram Construction $856,950.00 <br />North Pine Aggregate, Inc. $1,353,615.62 <br />Rachel Contracting, Inc. $1,471,652.80 <br />Park Construction Company $ 1,776,183.70 <br />WHEREAS, it appears that Sunram Construction is the lowest responsible bidder, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of St. Anthony Village that: <br />I. The Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract <br />with Sunram Construction in the amount of $856,950.00 in the name of the City of St. <br />Anthony Village, Minnesota for the improvement outlined in the above - referenced <br />project according to the plans and specifications, therefore, approved by the City <br />Council and on file in the office of the City Clerk. <br />2. The Engineer, WSB & Associates, Inc., is hereby authorized and directed to return <br />forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits of the <br />successful bidder and the next two lowest bidders shall be retained until a contract has <br />been signed. <br />Adopted this 23`d day of August, 2016. <br />Jerome O.
