ANTHONY <br />CITY COUNCIL REGULAR MEETING MINUTES <br />DECEMBER 8, 2009 <br />CALL TO ORDER. <br />Mayor Faust called the meeting to order at 7:06 p.m. <br />PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE. <br />Mayor Faust invited the Council and audience to join him in the Pledge of Allegiance. <br />ROLL CALL. <br />Present: Mayor Faust; Councilmembers Gray, Roth, Stille, and Thuesen. <br />Absent: None. <br />Also Present: City Manager Mike Mornson, City Attorney Jerome Gilligan, Finance Director Roger <br />Larson, Assistant City Manager Kim Moore - Sykes, City Clerk Barb Suciu, Police <br />Chief John Ohl, Fire Chief John Malenick, Public Works Director Jay Hartman, <br />Liquor Manager Mike Larson, Todd Hubmer, WSB & Associates, and Justin Messner, <br />WSB & Associates. <br />CONSIDERATION, DISCUSSION, AND POSSIBLE ACTION ON ALL OF THE FOLLOWING <br />ITEMS. <br />I. APPROVAL OF DECEMBER 8, 2009 CITY COUNCIL MEETING AGENDA. <br />Motion by Councilmember Gray, seconded by Councilmember Roth, to approve the City <br />Council Meeting Agenda of December 8, 2009. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br />II. PROCLAMATIONS AND RECOGNITIONS. <br />A. Plague Presentation for Brian Thuesen for his Service on the St Anthony City Council <br />City Manager Mornson, Mayor Faust, and City Council Members Gray, Roth, and Stille <br />presented City Council Member Brian Thuesen with a proclamation for his service on the St. <br />Anthony City Council, proclaiming December 8, 2009 as Brian Thuesen Day. <br />B. Presentation of the Fire Poster Contest Winners John Malenick Fire Chief presenting. <br />Fire Chief John Malenick, Mayor Faust and Councilmember Thuesen recognized the 2009 Fire <br />Poster Contest Winners: 1S` Place: Connor Christenson (5`h Grade); 2 "d Place: Ava Mae <br />Ci owski (5`h Grade); 3`d Place: Lindsey Paulson (4`h Grade); 4`h Place: Nhuy Thanh Nguyen <br />(4` Grade). <br />
