City Council Regular Meeting Minutes <br />November 24, 2009 <br />Page 5 <br />I • Clear Wireless will be submitting a wireless antenna application to locate on the City's <br />2 water tower. The lease will likely be presented to the Council in January. The December <br />3 15, 2009 Planning Commission meeting will include a Clear Wireless application for a <br />4 different location in the City on a commercial building. <br />5 • The January 12, 2010 City Council meeting will include an update from the Hennepin <br />6 County Sheriff and a presentation on a renewal for the Greater Metropolitan Housing <br />7 Agency. <br />8 . Two additional awards have been received for the Water Reuse Facility, including an <br />9 Honorable Mention Award from the Minnesota Public Works Association and the Grand <br />10 Award from the American Council of Engineering Company (ACEC). The Facility is <br />11 being considered for one additional award. <br />12 <br />13 Councilmember Thuesen: No report. <br />14 <br />15 Councilmember Gray: No report. <br />16 <br />17 Councilmember Roth: No report. <br />18 <br />19 Councilmember Stille reported on his attendance at the ribbon cutting ceremony at the new <br />20 assisted living facility in Columbia Heights. He commented that the facility will not directly <br />21 compete with anything planned for Silver Lake Village and will help the retail in St. Anthony. <br />22 <br />23 Mayor Faust reported on his attendance at the following events: <br />24 • Ribbon cutting ceremony at the new assisted living facility in Columbia Heights. <br />25 • November 16, 2009 St. Anthony Historical Society Annual Meeting. <br />26 • November 17, 2009 Chamber of Commerce Meeting. He commented on the synergy <br />27 between government and business. <br />28 • November 17, 2009 meeting with himself, the City Manager and the Hennepin County <br />29 Assessor. Homes in the City of St. Anthony have had less loss in value than has been <br />30 seen throughout Hennepin County. <br />31 • November 19, 2009 Metro Cities Regional Meeting with Councilmembers Gray and <br />32 Roth. Final plans for legislative sessions as it relates to cities were approved. <br />33 <br />34 VIIL COMMUNITY FORUM. <br />35 <br />36 Mayor Faust invited residents to come forward at this time and address the Council on items that <br />37 are not on the regular agenda. <br />38 <br />39 Hearing none, Mayor Faust moved forward with the agenda. <br />40 <br />41 IX.
