Resolution 08 -013: Accepting a donation from Barbara Meier for the St. Anthony Police <br />Department — Citizen's Academy <br />Motion by Councilmember Thuesen, seconded by Councilmember Gray, to approve the Consent <br />Agenda as amended. <br />Motion carried unanimously (5/0) <br />IV. PUBLIC HEARINGS. <br />10 A. Public Hearing regarding the transfer of the Intoxicating Liquor License for Applebee's <br />11 Resolution 08 -014: Approving the transfer of the Intoxicating Liquor License to <br />12 Applebee's Restaurants North, LLC. <br />13 <br />14 Mayor Faust opened the Public Hearing at 7:07 p.m. <br />15 <br />16 City Manager Momson presented Resolution 08 -014. He stated staff received the necessary <br />17 documentation for a transfer of the intoxicating liquor license from American Limited <br />18 Partnership of Minnesota to Applebee's Restaurant North, LLC. He reported the St. Anthony <br />19 Police Department conducted a background investigation on the appropriate officers and <br />20 employees of the corporation. He indicated that no items of concern were discovered. City <br />21 Manager Momson reported staff would send the information to the State of Minnesota for review <br />22 after approval of the liquor license. <br />23 <br />24 Councilmember Stille questioned why the request for transfer was necessary. <br />25 <br />26 Mr. Dallas Ward, Assistant Manager, replied that all the corporately owned Applebee's were <br />27 purchased by the I -Hop Corporation, therefore, making the transfer necessary. <br />28 <br />29 Mayor Faust closed the Public Hearing at 7:10 p.m. <br />30 <br />31 Motion by Councilmember Stille, seconded by Councilmember Roth, to approve Resolution 08- <br />32 014, a Resolution approving the transfer of the Intoxicating Liquor License for Applebee's <br />33 Restaurants North, LLC, DBA Applebee's Restaurant at 2800 — 39`° Avenue. <br />34 <br />35 Motion carried unanimously (5/0) <br />36 <br />37 V.
