Resolution 08 -015: Approving a Cooperative Agreement with Hennepin County for the <br />26 Construction of Silver Lake Road <br />27 <br />28 Mr. Craig Twinem, Hennepin County Transportation, presented the final construction plans and <br />29 the cooperative agreement for the Silver Lake Road project. He stated the bid date would be <br />30 March 18 or 25 with construction starting early May. He informed Council that an open house <br />31 would be held on March 31, 2008. <br />32 <br />33 Councilmember Stille questioned whether the entire street would be closed to traffic. <br />34 <br />35 Mr. Twinem replied the entire project would be closed of and marked with detour routes. He <br />36 stated the aggressive approach would complete the project by November 2008. <br />37 <br />38 Councilmember Stille questioned the environmental issues. <br />39 <br />40 Mr. Twinem replied the environmental study is a Phase I environmental assessment was <br />41 completed, and if required, a phase II analysis would be completed. He stated the Hennepin <br />42 County Construction Division would hold monthly meetings to communicate progress on the <br />43 Silver Lake Road project. <br />44 <br />45 Councilmember Thuesen commented it is important that residents know who to contact should <br />46 an issue arise. <br />
