He stated specific standards to <br />ensure safety and air quality index standards are met would apply. <br />Councilmember Roth questioned the expiration time under the current process. <br />Mr. Drusch replied an individual would need to call each time a campfire was planned. <br />Councilmember Roth commented this would put more responsibility onto the homeowner. He <br />questioned whether this would open up liability to the City should property damage result from <br />a campfire. <br />Mr. Drusch replied the City Attorney would need to answer the liability question. He stated the <br />experience of the St. Anthony Fire Department is there have not been any problems. <br />City Manager Morrison commented the forms include the responsibility issue notification to the <br />applicant. <br />Motion by Councilmember Stille, seconded by Councilmember Roth, to adopt Ordinance 08- <br />001, Amending Section 315.05 and 1325 relating to the Fire Code to include additional <br />language on the fines. <br />Motion carried unanimously (3/0) <br />C. 2007 Department Head Reports <br />1. Liquor Operations <br />Mr. Mike Larson, Liquor Store Manager, presented the 2007 St. Anthony Village Liquor <br />Operations Annual Report. <br />Councilmember Roth questioned what the impact the new liquor store in Columbia Heights <br />would have on sales. <br />Mr. Larson replied this store has opened and has not affected sales. <br />Councilmember Roth questioned whether on -line liquor sales were considered. <br />Mr. Larson replied he did not believe this is something the City would want to be a part of. <br />Councihnember Stille complimented the Liquor Operations on the continuity with their mission <br />statement. He stated that it is a very professional ran operation and congratulated Mr. Larson on <br />another great year. <br />
