City Council Regular Meeting Minutes <br />May 27, 2008 <br />Page 6 <br />2 Councilmember Stille stated on May 18 he attended the Sister City Committee meeting. He <br />3 noted there would be four visitors to the City from Finland in the first week on June. He <br />reviewed what Project Citizen was. He noted on May 15 he attended with the Mayor a Three <br />Rivers Park District groundbreaking at Silverwood Park. <br />Mayor Faust stated on May 14 he attended a League of Minnesota's meeting. He noted he had <br />attended the groundbreaking at Silverwood Park and read a recognition letter received from the <br />Three Rivers Park District. <br />VIII. COMMUNITY FORUM. <br />Mayor Faust invited residents to come forward at this time and address the Council on items that <br />are not on the regular agenda. <br />Hearing none, Mayor Faust moved forward with the agenda. <br />IX. INFORMATION AND ANNOUNCEMENTS. <br />Mayor Faust stated on May 24 the Historical Society planted a tree in St. Anthony Township <br />Cemetery for the 150'' birthday of St. Anthony Township. <br />Mayor Faust stated he had received a report from the Metropolitan Council noting the City now <br />had a population of 8,500. <br />X.
