GENERAL BUSINESS OF COUNCIL. <br />10 <br />11 A. Consider Resolution 08 -040; Accepting the Bid for the Water Re -Use Project. Todd <br />12 Hubmer, WSB & Associates, presenting. <br />13 <br />14 City Engineer Hubmer stated Resolution 08 -040 authorizes the acceptance of the bid for the <br />15 Water Re -Use Project. Based on the review of finances and the bid package that has been <br />16 presented, staff is currently working with Hennepin County to resolve funding issues associated <br />17 with the project. Staff recommends tabling the resolution until the issues are resolved. <br />18 <br />19 Councilmember Stille asked if tabling the resolution will impact the ability to complete the <br />20 project in a timely manner. <br />21 <br />22 City Engineer Hubmer replied the completion date may need to be extended a couple of weeks. <br />23 Staff is working feverishly towards a resolution. <br />24 <br />25 City Manager Momson asked how many days the City is allowed to hold the bid. <br />26 <br />27 City Engineer Hubmer replied up to 90 days. He indicated staff would like to get the project <br />28 done in connection with the Silver Lake Road Project and before winter. <br />29 <br />30 Motion by Councilmember Stille, seconded by Councilmember Roth, to table Resolution 08 -040, <br />31 Accepting the Bid for the Water Re -Use Project. <br />32 <br />33 Motion carried unanimously. <br />34 <br />35 B. Consider Resolution 08 -041; Ordering Feasibility Report for the 2009 Street <br />36 Reconstruction Project. Todd Hubmer, WSB & Associates, presenting, <br />37 <br />38 City Engineer Hubmer reviewed the resolution with the Council, outlined the location of the <br />39 2009 Street Reconstruction Project, and reviewed the proposed project schedule. <br />40 <br />41 Councilmember Stille asked if neighborhood meetings will be attended by the tenants or owners <br />42 of commercial property and high density housing that is included in the project area. <br />43 <br />44 City Engineer Hubmer replied in many cases both the owner and the tenants of commercial <br />45 property attend the meetings. Staff will notify the owners of condominium units and apartments <br />46 and encourage them to post information for the residents to attend the meeting. <br />
