City Council Regular Meeting Minutes <br />May 23, 2006 <br />Page 17 <br />1 On May 18 the Mayor attended the Association of Metropolitan Municipalities annual meeting. <br />2 Mayor Steve Larson of New Brighten was elected the new president of this organization. Mayor <br />3 Faust stated he had an opportunity to meet with legislators and brought back a CD about the One <br />4 State /One Future on transportation initiatives that he will give to City Manager Mornson. <br />c <br />6 Mayor Faust attended the opening ceremony of Minnesota Rocks at Kellogg and John Ireland <br />7 Boulevard. The Mayors of St. Paul and Vadnais Heights were also in attendance. This event is <br />8 open daily between 12:00 and 8:00 p.m. until June 30. These rock sculptures will then be placed <br />9 throughout St. Paul, one in Vadnais Heights, and one in St. Anthony's Solo Park. Mayor Faust <br />10 let everyone know that Councilmember Horst has been the driving force behind this project. <br />11 <br />12 City Manager Mornson and the Mayor and staff met with Len Pratt at Silver Lake Village to <br />13 prepare for the Solo Park dedication. The dedication will take place on June 8 from 5:00 p.m. to <br />14 6:30 p.m. More information will be available on the website and CTV. <br />15 <br />16 VIII. COMMUNITY FORUM. <br />17 Mayor Faust invited residents to come forward at this time to address the Council on items that <br />18 are not on the regular agenda. <br />19 <br />20 Jeff Reynolds wanted to know if the audit will be available to the public. Mayor Faust answered <br />21 by stating the audit as well as the budget is available at City Hall. <br />22 <br />23 IX.
