City Council Regular Meeting Minutes <br />October 10, 2006 <br />Page 10 <br />1 Mayor Faust reported he received a letter from Chief Oldfather, Rogers, MN Police Department <br />2 thanking St. Anthony for providing additional officers in support of the tornado that hit their <br />3 community. He reported over 37 communities responded. He also stressed how important it is <br />4 to share resources. He <br />passed on his thanks to all the departments that worked with this. <br />Mayor Faust encouraged Council to attend the regional meeting of the AMM and League of <br />Minnesota Cities on November 16`h in St. Paul. <br />Mayor Faust reported the League of Minnesota Cities has 892 members, which include some <br />townships and special districts. He stated there are 854 cities in the state with 830 belonging to <br />the League of Minnesota Cities.
