ANTHONY <br />2 CITY COUNCIL REGULAR MEETING MINUTES <br />3 May 9, 2006 <br />4 <br />5 CALL TO ORDER. <br />6 Mayor Faust called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. <br />8 PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE. <br />9 Mayor Faust invited the Council and audience to join him in the Pledge of Allegiance. <br />10 <br />11 ROLL CALL. <br />12 Present: Mayor Faust; Councilmembers Gray, Stille, and Thuesen. <br />13 Absent: Councilmember Horst. <br />14 Also Present: City Manager Mike Morrison. <br />15 <br />16 <br />17 CONSIDERATION, DISCUSSION, AND POSSIBLE ACTION ON ALL OF THE FOLLOWING <br />18 ITEMS. <br />19 <br />20 1. APPROVAL OF MAY 9, 2006 CITY COUNCIL MEETING AGENDA. <br />21 Motion by Councilmember Thuesen, seconded by Councilmember Gray, to approve the City <br />22 Council Meeting Agenda of May 9, 2006. <br />23 <br />24 Motion carried unanimously <br />25 <br />26 II. PROCLAMATIONS AND RECOGNITIONS. <br />27 None. <br />28 <br />29 III. CONSENT AGENDA. <br />30 A. Consider April 25, 2006 Council meeting minutes <br />31 B. Consider licenses and permits <br />32 C. Consider payment of claims. <br />33 D. Resolution 06 -046: Accepting grant money from the State of Minnesota Labor & <br />34 Industry Division for St Anthony's Public Works and Police Department <br />35 E. Resolution 06 -047: Accepting Grant Money from the State of Minnesota Public Safety <br />36 Division for St. Anthony's Police Department <br />37 <br />38 Motion by Councilmember Gray, seconded by Councilmember Stille, to approve the Consent <br />39 Agenda items. <br />40 <br />41 Mayor Faust advised that Item D relates to the receipt of a grant from the State of Minnesota <br />42 Labor & Industry Division to the City's Public Works and Police Departments in the amounts of <br />43 $3,815 and $2,080 respectively. He thanked and recognized the effort of those department heads <br />44 for submitting grants and their commitment to the community to be fiscally responsible. <br />45 <br />46 Motion carried unanimously, <br />47 <br />48 IV.
