I CITY OF ST. ANTHONY <br />2 CITY COUNCIL REGULAR MEETING MINUTES <br />3 June 27, 2006 <br />4 <br />5 CALL TO ORDER. <br />6 Mayor Faust called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. <br />7 <br />8 PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE. <br />9 Mayor Faust invited the Council and audience to join him in the Pledge of Allegiance. <br />10 <br />11 ROLL CALL. <br />12 Present: Mayor Faust; Councilmembers Gray, Horst, Stille, and Thuesen. <br />13 Absent: None. <br />14 Also Present: City Manager Mike Morrison, City Attorney Jay Lindgren <br />15 <br />16 <br />17 CONSIDERATION, DISCUSSION, AND POSSIBLE ACTION ON ALL OF THE FOLLOWING <br />18 ITEMS. <br />19 <br />20 I. APPROVAL OF JUNE 27, 2006 CITY COUNCIL MEETING AGENDA. <br />21 <br />22 Motion by Councilmember Stille, seconded by Councilmember Thuesen, to approve the City <br />23 Council Meeting Agenda of June 27, 2006 with agenda resolution 06 -06 item 5F. <br />24 <br />25 Motion carried unanimously. <br />26 <br />27 IL PROCLAMATIONS AND RECOGNITIONS. <br />28 A. Proclamation as June 27 2006 as Husky Day (pg. 1 -3) <br />29 1. Certificate presentation to the Girls Softball Team <br />30 2. Certificate presentation to the Boys Baseball Team. <br />31 <br />32 Mayor Faust read a proclamation announcing that the St. Anthony High School Girls Softball <br />33 team won the Consolation Championship in the Minnesota State Girls AA Softball Tournament <br />34 and the St. Anthony High School Boys Baseball team won the Championship in the Minnesota <br />35 State AA Boys Baseball Tournament. <br />36 <br />37 Mayor Faust proclaimed the outstanding endeavors of these young women and men directly <br />38 reflect on the City of St. Anthony and the community. On behalf of the City Council, Mayor <br />39 Faust proclaimed June 27, 2006 as "Husky Day" in honor of the outstanding achievements of the <br />40 girl's softball team and the boy's baseball team. <br />41 <br />42 The girls softball team include: Eighth grader Jyll Tusa; Freshmen Brittany Myhran and Jordan <br />43 Hallada; Sophomores Brittany Ranallo, Angie Gerlach, Rose Tusa and Allison Schmidtbauer; <br />44 Juniors Amy Daher, Alexia Bridgeman, Jenny Fabian, Katie Johnson and Courtney Anttila. <br />45 <br />46 The boys baseball team include: Sophomores Calvin Walker, Mark Halstensgard, Chris Peterson,, <br />47 Steve Grewe, and Dan Zurbey; Juniors Jason Ferkinhoff, Tim Duffy, and Alex Keil; and Seniors <br />48 Kyle Bloom, Dan Halstensgard, Chad Peterson, Joe Stark, Charles Brandes, Jeff Gerlach and T.J. <br />49 Lynch. <br />
