City Council Regular Meeting Minutes <br />November 8, 2005 <br />Page 6 <br />1 Mayor Faust indicated that on November 1 he attended the Mississippi Water Management <br />2 Organization meeting, where they suggested rain guards on public property be reviewed. On <br />3 November 2 he attended the Chamber of Commerce Board meeting. The Christmas lighting <br />4 contest will be judged on December 15; there will be more information on the website, in the <br />5 newsletter, and at the front office. Last night he attended the annual meeting of the Sister City <br />6 Association, and provided a presentation regarding his recent trip. He suggested a Nokia <br />7 representative from Salo travel with them. He added information regarding emergency planning <br />8 will be coming out in the newsletter to help residents prepare for emergencies. A surprise <br />9 tabletop exercise will be held next year to test the system for flaws. <br />10 <br />11 VIII. COMMUNITY FORUM. <br />12 Mayor Faust invited residents to come forward at this time and address the Council on items that <br />13 are not on the regular agenda. <br />14 <br />15 Hearing none, Mayor Faust moved forward with the agenda. <br />16 <br />17 IX.
