An eight time turn
ratio per year should lead the industry in the northeast suburb area. It was also noted that the
current liquor stores are new facilities owned by the City that were part of a redevelopment plan.
The new, updated facilities have attracted more customers and resulted in an improvement from
the stagnant sales prior to the move.

Mayor Faust commented that the redevelopment also resulted in property going back on the tax
roll. He commended the liquor operations staff for the excellent results in compliance checks
and on the well run operation that has attracted private owners to request tours for ideas and tips
in their operations.

VII.
