CITY OF SAINT ANTHONY VILLAGE <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION 16 -069 <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING MUTUAL AID AGREEMENT <br />FOR THE AUTOMATIC DISPATCH OF THE CLOSEST EMERGENCY RESPONSE UNIT <br />REGARDLESS OF JURISDICTIONAL BOUNDARIES <br />WHEREAS, Closest Unit Dispatching will provide for automatic mutual aid dispatch of the closet <br />equipment and personnel to emergency events; and <br />WHEREAS, Closest Unit Dispatching will be similar to The City of St. Anthony's current "auto -aid" <br />agreements with Columbia Heights and Fridley; and <br />WHEREAS, The other agencies participating in this agreement are St. Paul, Roseville, Little Canada, <br />Maplewood, Falcon Heights, North St. Paul, New Brighton, White Bear Lake, and the Lake Johanna <br />Fire Department; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the City Council authorizes the City of St. Anthony to enter <br />into the Mutual Aid Agreement for Closet Unit Dispatching. <br />Adopted this 27th day of Se tember, 2016. <br />Jerome O.
