CONCEPT REVIEWS <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />IX. REPORTS FROM STAFF <br /> <br />Assistant City Manager Moore-Sykes reported on the Minneapolis Association of Realtors. She <br />reported states that at the end of August 2007, 84 home sales closed in St. Anthony which is <br />behind by 30% from 2006. She stated St. Anthony has an average sale price of $256,595.00 <br />which is ahead of last year’s sale price of nearly 10 percent. She reported the Twin Cities area <br />units remains high with 34,008 units for sale for the entire region. She commented builders are <br />not building as much as they have in previous years which resulted in 16 percent of the decline <br />of new homes for sale. <br /> <br />X. COMMUNITY FORUM <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />XI. INFORMATION AND ANNOUNCEMENTS <br /> <br /> XI.1. Planning Commission Application Letters to City Manager due November 16, 2007. <br /> <br />Assistant City Manager Moore-Sykes reported that those Commission members whose terms are <br />up at the end of the year, to submit letters of application to the City Manager by November 15, <br />2007. <br /> <br /> Chair Stromgren asked about the Comp Plan status. <br /> <br />Assistant City Manager Moore-Sykes replied Council approved for preliminary Comp Plan and <br />submission to the Metropolitan Council. <br /> <br /> Chair Stromgren asked if the Met Council provides input to the Comprehensive Plan. <br /> <br />Assistant City Manager Moore-Sykes replied the Met Council is to provide comments if they so <br />desire; however, she did not recall any input previously. <br /> <br />XII. ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Heinis, seconded by Commissioner Jensen, to adjourn the meeting at <br />8:10 p.m. <br />
