ANTHONY 1 <br />CITY COUNCIL REGULAR MEETING MINUTES 2 <br />NOVEMBER 8, 2016 3 <br /> 4 <br />CALL TO ORDER. 5 <br /> 6 <br />Mayor Faust called the meeting to order at 8:00 p.m. 7 <br /> 8 <br />PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE. 9 <br /> 10 <br />Mayor Faust invited the Council and audience to join him in the Pledge of Allegiance. 11 <br /> 12 <br />Present: Mayor Faust Councilmembers Brever, Jenson, and Stille 13 <br />Absent: Councilmember Gray 14 <br />Also Present: City Manager Mark Casey 15 <br /> 16 <br /> 17 <br />CONSIDERATION, DISCUSSION, AND POSSIBLE ACTION ON ALL OF THE FOLLOWING 18 <br />ITEMS. 19 <br /> 20 <br />I. APPROVAL OF THE NOVEMBER 8, 2016, CITY COUNCIL MEETING AGENDA. 21 <br /> 22 <br />Motion by Councilmember Brever, seconded by Councilmember Jenson, to approve the City 23 <br />Council Meeting Agenda of November 8, 2016. 24 <br /> 25 <br />Motion carried 4-0. 26 <br /> 27 <br />II. PROCLAMATIONS AND RECOGNITIONS. 28 <br /> 29 <br />A. Presentation by Ramsey County Sheriff Matt Bostrom. 30 <br /> 31 <br />Sheriff Bostrom reviewed the activities the Ramsey County Sheriff Department has been 32 <br />involved with including Coffee With A Cop, Hot Dog with a Deputy, and Shop With a Cop. He 33 <br />reminded residents to turn in prescription drugs to the Sheriff’s Department. Sheriff Bostrom 34 <br />noted when hiring employees, they look for people with four character traits. He reviewed the 35 <br />services provided by the Ramsey County Sheriff Department. He described the PRIME unit 36 <br />within the detention center and shared some examples of things that have been positive. 37 <br /> 38 <br />Mayor Faust stated he appreciates the Sheriff Department’s outreach in the community and the 39 <br />prescription drug drop-off program. 40 <br /> 41 <br />III. CONSENT AGENDA. 42 <br /> 43 <br />A. Approval of October 25, 2016, City Council meeting minutes. 44 <br />B. Licenses and Permits. 45 <br />C.
