Records Department Review <br />Prepared by Kim Dulz <br />The records department of the St. Anthony Police Department is comprised <br />of one full time office manager, one full time office support specialist, and <br />one part time volunteer. <br />The records unit is responsible for processing and maintaining all police <br />department case files; preparation of statistical reports; reporting statistics to <br />state and federal agencies; coding offenses; data entry; assisting the public <br />with requests for information; processing records; background checks; gun <br />permits; hot file validations; records retention; ordering office supplies; the <br />transcription of officer's reports and statements; and the dispatching of non - <br />emergency calls to squad cars. <br />Office Manager Kim Dulz has been with the department <br />for 20 years and had previous experience working for the <br />New Hope Police Department. <br />Office Support Specialist Vicky James has been with <br />the department for 5 years and had previous experience <br />working for the Cambridge Police Department and the <br />Apache Junction Police Department in Arizona. <br />After attending St. Anthony Police Department's 1" <br />Citizen's Academy, Connie Bartlett began volunteering <br />in the records department. She has been a great asset to <br />the office with data entry and assisting citizens both on <br />the phone and at the front office window. <br />13 <br />
