<br /> <br />REQUEST FOR COUNCIL CONSIDERATION <br /> <br /> <br />Meeting Date: January 10, 2017 <br /> <br /> Resolution- Approving the 2017-2020 Hennepin County Residential Recycling SCORE Grant Agreement <br /> <br /> <br />OVERVIEW: <br /> <br />In front of you this evening is a resolution approving the Hennepin County Residential Recycling SCORE <br />Grant Agreement. <br /> <br />Hennepin County distributes all Select Committee on Recycling and the Environment (SCORE) funds to <br />cities for curbside collection of residential recyclables including organics. Hennepin County has a Funding <br />Policy that determines how the grant funds are distributed to cities. <br /> <br />The City of St. Anthony currently has Residential Recycling Agreement with Hennepin County that <br />expired December 31, 2016. The agreement includes the Hennepin County Residential Recycling Funding <br />Policy. Hennepin County will continue to fund recycling programs along with more support for organics <br />recycling. <br /> <br />The new agreement will expire on December 31, 2020. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />19
