City Council Regular Meeting Minutes <br />January 24, 2017 <br />Page 5 <br />1 Councilmember Gray stated last Wednesday, the first meeting of the Police Body Cam Work <br />2 Group was held. All members were present. The Burnsville Police Chief will be facilitating the <br />3 meetings. He also attended the goal setting session. <br />4 <br />5 Councilmember Brever stated on January 18, she attended a meeting of the Small Collaborative <br />6 Group. There will be an event on April 8 with more information to come. Last week, she <br />7 attended the goal setting session and the Comprehensive Plan Steering Committee Meeting. <br />8 Today she attended the St. Anthony — New Brighton Family Services Collaborative Sub Group <br />9 that met with Racial Equity Network Minnesota. On January 25 -26, she will meet with staff to <br />10 attend a 16 -hour training for GARS. <br />11 <br />12 Mayor Faust stated on January 17, he attended the Chamber of Commerce Monthly Meeting <br />13 where a business workplace violence presentation was given. He attended the retreat January 19- <br />14 20. Earlier today he attended the Regional Council of Mayors Water Task Force. <br />15 <br />16 VIII. COMMUNITY FORUM. <br />17 <br />18 Mayor Faust invited residents to come forward at this time and address the Council on items that <br />19 are not on the regular agenda. <br />20 <br />21 Hearing none, Mayor Faust moved forward with the agenda. <br />22 <br />23 IX. INFORMATION AND ANNOUNCEMENTS. <br />24 <br />25 Mayor Faust announced when Santa on the fire truck was out, they collected over $1,700 for <br />26 Nourish 282. <br />27 <br />28 X.
