CITY OF ST. ANTHONY VILLAGE <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION 17-030 <br />A RESOLUTION ORDERING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND <br />AUTHORIZE SOLICITATION OF BIDS FOR THE <br />SILVER LAKE ROAD LED STREET LIGHT IMPROVEMENT PROJECT <br />WHEREAS, the Cities of St. Anthony Village and New Brighton are proposing to replace the existing <br />street lighting along Silver Lake Road from 37th Ave NE to Interstate 694, <br />WHEREAS, this project will replace deteriorated street lighting that is nearing 20 years of service life, <br />WHEREAS, the project will also make progress towards the City of St. Anthony Village’s sustainability <br />initiative by replacing high energy usage HPS fixtures with energy saving LED fixtures, <br />WHEREAS, Staff has prepared and presented a memo detailing the proposed improvements and whether <br />the proposed project is necessary, cost effective, and feasible, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of St. Anthony Village that: <br />1)Staff is hereby authorized to prepare bid documents and solicit bids for the Silver Lake Road LED <br />Street Light Improvement Project. <br />Adopted this 28th day of February, 2017. <br />_____________________________ <br />Jerome O.
