CITY OF ST. ANTHONY VILLAGE <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION 17 -032 <br />A RESOLUTION ADOPTING WATER CONSERVATION RESTRICTIONS <br />WHEREAS, the City of St. Anthony Village's Strategic Plan and Sustainability Goals <br />reference the desire to encourage water conservation; <br />WHEREAS, limiting splash pad operation hours assist in the efficient use of water; <br />WHEREAS, watering restrictions which limit the time of day and the frequency of <br />watering assist in the efficient use of water; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of St. Anthony <br />Village that: <br />1. Splash Pads at Central and Emerald Parks will be operating 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 <br />p.m. Mondays through Sundays. <br />2. Staff shall notify municipal system users of the following watering ban by posting <br />notice at City offices and publishing in the City's official newspaper. <br />3. Watering restrictions shall apply each year between April 151 and November 151 <br />4. Residents with an odd house number shall water lawns when necessary only on <br />odd - numbered calendar days and those with even - numbered addresses shall water <br />lawns only on even - numbered days. <br />5. Lawns shall not be watered between the hours of 11:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. <br />6. An exception may be granted for recently established lawns.
