Planning Commission <br />The Planning Commission advises the City Council on planning and zoning related issues. The <br />commission also reviews plate and other land subdivisions, site plans for commercial and <br />industrial buildings, rezoning requests, variances, conditional use permits, and other land use <br />issues. Their recommendations are then presented to the City Council for final approval. Every <br />year, the Planning Commission adopts an annual work plan to help guide and direct their <br />work, which the City Council reviews and approves.
