2015 Annual Report • Fire Department • St. Anthony Village, Minnesota

29 | Page

X. In Summary
As I look back at 2015 and see all that we as a department have accomplished, I cannot say enough
about the hard work that the men and women of St. Anthony Fire Department do day in and day out.
So much is done behind the scenes that we even had to bring in our families to show them firsthand
what that commitment and dedication looks like on the training side. I know it was a proud day for
many involved as the kids were able to see their father or mother perform, and the firefighters were
able to show their kids where they go and what they do on Monday nights. It was all about pride and
honor in what they do and then sharing that with their families for one night .
The firefighters of this department have all answered the call of public service. They have made a
conscious and noble choice to serve their fellow human beings. They made a commitment to our core
values of honesty, integrity, empathy and compassion, all done while serving others. I could not be
more proud of this department with what we have accomplished and what we will continue to do in
the future. The dedication that these firefighters have to making this a better and safer place to live is
one that I feel everybody should know about. My hope is that this annual report gave you that better
understanding and painted a picture of their drive to help others and the commitment they have to
doing just that. Serving those in a time of need or
crisis.
With that I respectfully submit my 2015 annual report.
Mark S. Sitarz
Fire Chief
