2015 Annual Report • Police Department • St. Anthony Village, Minnesota <br /> <br /> <br />10 | Page <br /> <br />Another way in which the patrol division contributes to our goal of suppressing and deterring <br />criminal activities is though our active enforcement of traffic laws. The high visibility that traffic <br />enforcement brings serves as a deterrent to would-be criminals looking for a place in which to <br />commit their crimes. Additionally, traffic enforcement is important in reducing traffic crashes <br />and in educating the public on ways in which to travel safely. The accomplishment of these <br />goals are evident in the following patrol statistics for 2015 in the City of St. Anthony. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Total Citations Issued: 2410 <br />Moving Violations: 2213 Non-moving Violations: 197 <br /> <br />Total Arrests: 833 <br />23 were for Driving While Intoxicated (DWI) 661 were for traffic related offenses <br />77 were for criminal related offenses 44 were for felony level offenses <br />24 were for outstanding warrants <br /> <br />
