2015 Annual Report • Police Department • St. Anthony Village, Minnesota

30 | Page

XII. “In the Mailbox”

You hold the distinction as being someone who has earned and
maintained the steadfast trust/care of a community. In terms of
role model I couldn’t give my students a finer one. Thank you for
making my kids the priority that you do.
When your officers
responded to the scene
my dad was very grateful
and they treated him and
my sister and brother in
law who they called to
come pick him up with
the ultimate in respect
and professionalism. Too
often today we hear only
complaints about the
police and not enough
about all the good you
people do.
It was absolutely fantastic! He
totally engaged the veterans
and many of them who do not
normally ask questions!. The
veterans were so thankful he
came and they thoroughly
enjoyed him.
Thank you for your assistance.
It’s nice to know you are only a
phone call away. I was so scared
and you took good care of me.
I wanted to share how the Survival Camp was a
fantastic experience. Our daughter kept talking about
it to her father and I for a long period of time ever
since. They were talking to him in the street when
I pulled up. They were very kind and calm
with him and allowed me to take him home
in my car. I just wanted to say thank you
to the department for helping me and my
son in this situation.
I then went outside to meet your
officers and they stood by with me as I
went through my car to make sure
nothing was taken or tampered with.
With their willingness to go the extra
mile they prevented what could have
been a huge problem for me. I want
you to know how much we appreciate
the effort your officers put out. During his three days in the hospital, several people
told us how lucky we were. Luck-true, but also
blessed to have such a great team that we could call
on for help.
