Department Divisions <br />The Public Works Department is divided into six (6) divisions: Streets, Parks, Water/Sewer, <br />Vehicle Maintenance, Engineering and City Buildings <br />STREET DIVISION <br />The Street Division is responsible for the repair and maintenance of <br />the City’s street network. They are responsible for snow and ice <br />control in the winter months, as well as road maintenance repairs <br />and street sweeping during the summer months. <br />The Public Works Department also completed an annual Boulevard <br />Tree Trimming Program. In 2015, the Street Division conducted nine <br />(9) street sweepings Citywide. <br />In the 2014-2015 winter season, there were 16 snow/ice events and 5 <br />citywide plowing events.
