In 2016, the City Manager and Department Heads <br />participated in quarterly meetings with Dr. Bruce Miles of Big River Consulting. Dr. Miles was <br />able to present what academia research shows along with best practices and practical <br />applications to use with our work force. The knowledge and enhanced skills that has been <br />gained, enabled the staff leadership team to dispense this to their respective departments. <br />Examples of the subject areas covered were succession planning, employee engagement, <br />evaluations and strategic planning. This investment will ensure sustainable excellence of the <br />City’s most valuable asset – our staff. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
