CITY OF ST. ANTHONY VILLAGE <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 17 - XXX <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION ADOPTING OUTDOOR WATERING RESTRICTIONS <br /> <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of St. Anthony Village’s Strategic Plan and Sustainability Goals <br />reference the desire to encourage water conservation; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, watering restrictions which limit the time of day and the frequency of <br />watering assist in the efficient use of water; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of St. Anthony <br />Village that: <br /> <br />1. Staff shall notify municipal system users of the following watering ban by posting <br />notice at City offices and publishing in the City’s official newspaper. <br /> <br />2. Watering restrictions shall apply each year between April 1st and November 1st. <br /> <br />3. Residents with an odd house number shall water lawns when necessary only on <br />odd-numbered calendar days and those with even-numbered addresses shall water <br />lawns only on even-numbered days. <br /> <br />4. Lawns shall not be watered between the hours of 11:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. <br /> <br />5. An exception may be granted for recently established lawns.
