ANTHONY VILLAGE <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION 17 -041 <br />A RESOLUTION AWARDING A BID FOR THE <br />SILVER LAKE ROAD LED STREET LIGHT IMPROVEMENT PROJECT <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the improvement as shown on the plan for the <br />above - referenced project, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law, and the <br />following bids were received complying with the advertisement: <br />Total Bid <br />1 Killmer Electric Co., Inc. <br />$416,174.46 <br />2 Forest Lake Contracting, Inc. <br />$432,790.00 <br />3 Q3 Contracting <br />$456,855.00 <br />4 LPD Electric <br />$470,405.00 <br />5 Neo Electrical Solutions <br />$472,480.00 <br />6 Taylor Electric Company <br />$480,650.00 <br />7 Eagan Companies, Inc. <br />$489,960.00 <br />8 Collins Electrical Construction Co. <br />$493,480.00 <br />WHEREAS, it appears that Killmer Electric Co., Inc. of Crystal, MN is the lowest responsible bidder, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of St. Anthony Village that: <br />1. The Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with <br />Killmer Electric Co., Inc. in the amount of $416,174.46 in the name of the City of St. <br />Anthony Village, Minnesota for the improvement outlined in the above - referenced project <br />according to the plans and specifications, therefore, approved by the City Council and on file <br />in the office of the City Clerk. <br />2. The Engineer, WSB & Associates, Inc., is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith <br />to all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful <br />bidder and the next two lowest bidders shall be retained until a contract has been signed. <br />Adopted this 25th day of April, 2017. <br />ATTEST: <br />Ni6oV Miller, City Cle <br />erome O.
