CITY OF ST. ANTHONY VILLAGE <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION 17 -040 <br />A RESOLUTION AWARDING A BID <br />HIGHWAY SAFETY IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM PROJECT <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement forbids for the improvement as shown on the plan for the <br />above - referenced project, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law, and the <br />following bids were received complying with the advertisement: <br />Total Bid <br />1 Sunram Construction <br />$1,097,362.20 <br />2 TI -ZACK Concrete, Inc. <br />$1,098,044.50 <br />3 Concrete Idea, Inc. <br />$1,100,342.35 <br />4 Forest Lake Contracting, Inc. <br />$1,388,699.90 <br />5 G Urban Companies, Inc. <br />$1,527,477.50 <br />WHEREAS, it appears that Sunram Construction, Inc. of Corcoran, MN is the lowest responsible bidder, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of St. Anthony Village that: <br />I. The Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with <br />Sunram Construction, Inc. in the amount of $1,097,362.20 in the name of the City of St. <br />Anthony Village, Minnesota for the improvement outlined in the above - referenced project <br />according to the plans and specifications, therefore, approved by the City Council and on file <br />in the office of the City Clerk. <br />2. The Engineer, WSB & Associates, Inc., is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith <br />to all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful <br />bidder and the next two lowest bidders shall be retained until a contract has been signed. <br />Adopted this 25th day of April, 2017. <br />ATTEST: ^ <br />Nicole Miller, City Clett <br />Reviewed for administration: <br />4erome .
