CITY OF ST. ANTHONY VILLAGE <br />CITY COUNCIL MEETING AGENDA <br />I MAY 9, 2017 <br />7:00 p.m. HRA meeting immediately <br />after council meeting <br />Call to Order. <br />Pledge of Allegiance. <br />Roll Call. <br />Consideration, discussion, and possible action on all of the followine items: <br />I. Approval of the May 9, 2017, City Council Meeting Agenda. (action requested.) <br />II. Proclamations and Recognitions. <br />A. Chamber Member of the Year and Business of the Year, William Huseonica presenting. (no <br />action required) <br />III. Consent Agenda. <br />These items are considered routine and will be enacted by one motion. There will be no separate <br />discussion of these items unless a Councilmember or citizen so requests, in which the item will be <br />removed from the Consent Agenda and placed elsewhere on the agenda. <br />A. Approval of April 25, 2017, City Council meeting minutes. (pp.1-5) <br />B. Licenses and Permits. (pp.7) <br />C. Claims. (pp.9 -10) <br />IV. Public Hearing. <br />A. 2018 Budget Calendar, Shelly Rueckert, Finance Director presenting. (pp.l 1-16) <br />V. Reports from Commission and Staff. <br />VI. General Business of Council. <br />A. Resolution 17 -042 a resolution to Approve a Request to Keep Chickens in an R -1 Zoning District <br />at 2805 29th Ave NE. Mark Casey, City Manager presenting (pp. 17-21) <br />B. St. Anthony Finance Department Annual Report. Shelly Rueckert, Finance Director presenting. <br />(no action required) (pp.23 -29) <br />VII. Reports from City Manager and Council members. <br />VIII. Community Forum <br />Individuals may address the City Council about any item not included on the regular agenda. Speakers <br />are requested to come to the podium, sign their name and address on the form at the podium, state their <br />name and address for the Clerk's record, and limit their remarks to five minutes. Generally, the City <br />Council will not take official action on items discussed at this time, but may typically refer the matter to <br />staff for a future report or direct the matter to be scheduled on an upcoming agenda. <br />IX.
