Mr. Larson <br />stated the first Sunday was awesome but it is very early. More data will be presented to the <br />Council when more history has gone past. <br />Councilmember Brever thanked Mr. Larson and his staff. <br />Mayor Faust stated he was at the store the first day and noticed how hard staff was working. The <br />Liquor Operation is putting money back into the community. <br />VII. REPORTS FROM CITY MANAGER AND COUNCIL MEMBERS. <br />City Manager Casey stated a Land Use Application has been received by the City from the <br />Lowry Grove developer. He reviewed the timeline and steps of the process. The City Planner <br />will come to a future City Council Meeting to review this in more detail. There is a 60 -day rule <br />where a decision needs to be made and a 15 -day window where staff will ensure the application <br />is complete. The application and supporting materials are on the website. There is a review <br />committee that will develop a staff report and a Planning Commission Public Hearing where <br />residents have an opportunity to voice their opinions. <br />Councilmember Jenson stated earlier today he met with several residents regarding affordable <br />housing. <br />Councilmember Stille had no report. <br />Councilmember Gray had no report. <br />Councilmember Brever stated on July 15, she attended the St. Anthony Villagers for Equity and <br />Community Workshop. On July 22, she attended a Sister City Meeting. She also attended the <br />affordable housing meeting earlier today. <br />Mayor Faust stated on July 12, he attended the Mississippi Watershed Retreat. On July 18, he <br />attended a ULI Meeting. On July 19, he attended the Metro Cities Policy Committee Meeting. <br />City Manager Casey mentioned on Thursday, August 10, there will be a work session on <br />affordable housing in the Council Chambers at 7 p.m. All are invited to attend. Mayor Faust <br />noted there will be a work session and then an open forum. <br />VIII. COMMUNITY FORUM. <br />Mr. Michael Berg, 3416 Edward Street, asked two questions about Lowry Grove. He asked about <br />the density of the housing and how that will affect the neighborhood. He also asked about <br />affordable housing and what right St. Anthony has to tell developers they have to have affordable <br />housing. <br />
