The applicant is requesting a variance to construct <br />a deck that would project 17.5 feet into the required rear yard setback to result in a rear yard depth of <br />7.5 feet. The Applicant’s request for a variance from the rear yard setback to allow for the construction <br />the deck addition is not reasonable, per the findings listed in city code.
