Title XV, Chapter 152, Section 152.142 (Permitted Conditional Uses LI Light Industrial <br />District) <br />This section of the City Code needs to be modified to reflect the direction provided by the <br />Planning Commission and the City Council to remove assembly, meeting lodge, or convention <br />halls from as a permitted conditional use. The current text reads as follows: <br />The following uses are permitted in an LI District only by a conditional use permit issued by the <br />City Council: <br />(A) Drug, cosmetic, pharmaceutical, and toiletries manufacture; <br />(B) Canning or bottling other than malt products; <br />(C) Enameling, painting, varnishing, lacquering, and japanning; <br />(D) Freight terminals; <br />(E) Meat packing which does not include the slaughtering of any kind of animal; <br />(F) Steel or metal goods manufacturing processes, not involving blast furnace processes; <br />(G) Assembly, meeting lodge, or convention halls; <br />(H) Catering operations and in -house cafeterias not intended for retail or public use; <br />(I) Day -care center without drive - through facilities. <br />(1993 Code, § 1640.03) (Am.
