ANTHONY <br />PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING <br />MAY 15, 2012 <br />7:00 p.m. <br />I. CALL TO ORDER. <br />Chair Heinis called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. <br />II. ROLL CALL. <br />Commissioners Present: Chairperson Heinis; Commissioners Chaput, Cincoski, Crone, Jensen, <br />Niccum, and Poucher. <br />Absent: None. <br />Also Present: City Manager Mark Casey, City Attorney Jay Lindgren, and Interim <br />City Planner Jacqueline Corkle. <br />III. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE. <br />Chair Heinis invited the Commission and the audience to join him in the Pledge of Allegiance. <br />IV. APPROVAL OF MEETING AGENDA. <br />Chair Heinis requested that agenda item VII. 1. be moved forward on the agenda before agenda <br />item VI. 1. <br />Motion by Commissioner Jensen, second by Commissioner Niccum, to approve the meeting <br />agenda of May 15, 2012, as amended. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br />V. APPROVAL OF MEETING MINUTES. <br />Motion by Commissioner Crone, second by Commissioner Niccum, to approve the April 17, <br />2012, Meeting Minutes. <br />Motion carried 6 -0 ( Chaput abstain). <br />VII. CONCEPT REVIEWS. <br />VILL Lot Coveraee Variance for 3301— 31s` Avenue NE, & Jane Wollan. <br />Interim City Planner Corkle explained the applicants have submitted an impervious surface <br />variance request for 33013 I't Avenue NE. She stated the property has a long driveway that <br />extends to the rear of the yard where the garage is located which contributes to the impervious <br />surface of the lot. She indicated lots greater than 9,000 square feet are allowed 35% of <br />impervious surface coverage and the garage takes up 437 square feet, the driveway takes up <br />
