Planning Commission Regular Meeting Minutes <br />December 20, 2011 <br />Page 5 <br />1 Assistant City Manager Moore -Sykes presented a report of building permits issued since the <br />2 beginning of 2011 and noted that 62% of the permits issued were for single family properties. <br />3 She stated that the valuation of building permits issued to date is approximately $4 million and <br />4 the City collected $95,000 in permit fees. She added that this report is used as part of the City's <br />5 budget process to review what has happened and forecast trends to the extent possible. <br />6 <br />7 XI. INFORMATION AND ANNOUNCEMENTS. <br />Chair Jensen advised that he and Commissioner Niccum were recently reappointed to the <br />Planning Commission for three year terms through December 31, 2014. He stated that the <br />Planning Commission will need to select a chair and vice chair at its January meeting and he <br />asked that someone else serve as chair next year. <br />Assistant City Manager Moore -Sykes reminded Chair Jensen and Commissioner Niccum that <br />they need to be sworn in before the next Planning Commission meeting and requested that they <br />stop in to see the City Clerk who will swear them in. <br />XIII.
