CITY OF SAINT ANTHONY VILLAGE <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION 17 -074 <br />A RESOLUTION DEFERRING A SPECIAL ASSESSMENT <br />FOR 2017 STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 435.193, special assessment installments payments <br />payable by senior citizens and persons retired by virtue of permanent and total <br />disability are deferred if payment of such installments would be a hardship; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of St. Anthony's assessment policy for senior citizen deferrals has been <br />established for upgrading public roadways; and <br />WHEREAS, such policy defines it shall be presumed a hardship exists if the annual assessment <br />installment exceeds one percent (1 %) of the previous year's applicable income as <br />reported for tax purposes; and <br />WHEREAS, the requirements of hardship have been met and verified by the Finance Director <br />of the City of St. Anthony; and <br />WHEREAS, the applicants listed below are the owners of real estate located in the City of St. <br />Anthony. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the following special assessment for the 2017 <br />Street Improvements Projects be deferred: <br />1) Mary Lou Stark $7,997.46 <br />3417 Maplewood Drive <br />St. Anthony, MN 55418 <br />0602923110097 <br />Adopted this 14a day of November, 2017 <br />Jerome O.
