<br /> <br /> <br />REQUEST FOR COUNCIL CONSIDERATION  <br />  <br />  <br />Meeting Date: January 9, 2018 <br /> <br /> <br />Resolution-Authorizing Retroactive Highway Safety Improvement Program (HSIP) Debt Service <br />Transfer. <br /> <br /> <br />OVERVIEW: <br /> <br />In front of you this evening is a resolution authorizing a retroactive HSIP debt service transfer. <br />HSIP Grant Proceeds were not expected to be received until 2018 and therefore no transfer of the <br />funds was proposed in the annual transfers approved by the City Council in the 12/12/2017 Council <br />meeting <br />The HSIP grant proceeds were subsequently received on 12/29/2017. To achieve the proper accounting <br />and distribution of these proceeds for the year ending 12/31/2017 staff is recommending a retroactive <br />transfer. The $692,145.17 transfer represents the portion of HSIP grant proceeds considered a source in <br />the 2016B HSIP bonding transaction. <br /> <br /> <br />  <br /> <br />  <br />75
