ANTHONY 1 <br />CITY COUNCIL REGULAR MEETING MINUTES 2 <br />JANUARY 9, 2018 3 <br /> 4 <br />CALL TO ORDER. 5 <br /> 6 <br />Mayor Faust called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. 7 <br /> 8 <br />PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE. 9 <br /> 10 <br />Mayor Faust invited the Council and audience to join him in the Pledge of Allegiance. 11 <br /> 12 <br />ROLL CALL. 13 <br /> 14 <br />Present: Mayor Faust; Councilmembers Gray, Jenson, Randle, and Stille. 15 <br />Absent: None 16 <br />Also Present: City Manager Mark Casey 17 <br /> 18 <br />CONSIDERATION, DISCUSSION, AND POSSIBLE ACTION ON ALL OF THE FOLLOWING 19 <br />ITEMS. 20 <br /> 21 <br />I. APPROVAL OF JANUARY 9, 2018 CITY COUNCIL MEETING AGENDA. 22 <br /> 23 <br />Motion by Councilmember Gray, seconded by Councilmember Jenson, to approve the City 24 <br />Council Meeting Agenda of January 9, 2018 as presented. 25 <br /> 26 <br />Motion carried 5-0. 27 <br /> 28 <br />II. PROCLAMATIONS AND RECOGNITIONS. 29 <br /> 30 <br />A. Swearing in of Councilmember Jenson 31 <br /> 32 <br /> Mayor Faust administered the swearing in of Councilmember Jan Jenson. 33 <br /> 34 <br />Councilmember Jenson thanked the residents for electing him and noted the initiatives he is 35 <br />looking forward to continuing. 36 <br /> 37 <br />B. Swearing in of Councilmember Stille 38 <br /> 39 <br /> Mayor Faust administered the swearing in of Councilmember Randy Stille. 40 <br /> 41 <br />Councilmember Stille thanked the residents for electing him to this term. He knocked on 1,803 42 <br />doors personally and learned a lot. He looks forward to continuing to make this community what 43 <br />it is. 44 <br /> 45 <br />C. Presentation of Northeast Youth and Family Services 46 <br /> 47 <br />Mr. Jerry Hromatka, President and CEO of Northeast Youth and Family Services, provided a 48 <br />brief summary about NYFS, Programs, Budget, Revenue Sources, Service Summary, Current 49 <br />1
