AGENCY COOPERATION <br />There are a number of local, state, and federal agencies that have rules and regulations related to water <br />resource management. The City recognizes the roles of these other agencies and will cooperate, <br />coordinate, and, when possible, partner with these agencies. <br />This Plan is in conformance with but does not restate all other agency rules that are applicable to water <br />resource management. The following agencies deal with or regulate water resources throughout the City: <br />●Minnesota Department of Health <br />●Minnesota Pollution Control Agency <br />●Board of Water and Soil Resources and the Wetland Conservation Act <br />●Minnesota Department of Natural Resources <br />●US Army Corps of Engineers <br /> <br />●Minnesota Department of Agriculture <br />●US Fish and Wildlife Service <br />●Hennepin County <br />●Hennepin County Environmental Services <br />●Ramsey County <br />●Ramsey Conservation District <br />●Rice Creek Watershed District <br />●Mississippi Watershed Management Organization <br />●Minnesota Environmental Quality Board <br />●Metropolitan Council <br />While these other agencies’ rules, policies, and guidelines are not all restated in this Plan, they are <br />applicable to projects, programs, and planning within the City. The MPCA Minnesota Stormwater Manual, <br />which is a document intended to be frequently updated, is also incorporated by reference into this Plan.
