St. Anthony 2040 Comprehensive Plan Chapter 6: Transportation <br /> <br />65 <br /> <br />CHAPTER 6: TRANSPORTATION <br />INTRODUCTION <br />The transportation system in St. Anthony Village generally operates well today. <br />The City’s multimodal transportation system includes facilities for vehicles, <br />freight, walking, bicycling and transit. Facilities are operated by a number of <br />agencies, including the City of St. Anthony Village, Hennepin County, Ramsey <br />County, Three Rivers Park District, Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board, the <br />Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT), and the Canadian Pacific <br />(CP) Railway. <br />This transportation chapter has been prepared in compliance with State of <br />Minnesota Statutes and applicable Metropolitan Council guidelines. As part of <br />this Plan, the City has reviewed existing and future conditions for each mode and <br />identified safety, operations, and network improvements that will be important to <br />address over the 2040 planning horizon. The City has also developed goals and <br />strategies to preserve and improve the transportation system. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />This transportation plan includes the following information: <br />1.
