2016 Annual Report • Police Department • St. Anthony Village, Minnesota <br /> <br /> <br />39 | Page <br /> <br />XIV. 2016 Accomplishments <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />• Completed succession planning and implemented new chief, new captain, promoted <br />two new Sergeants, hired three new police officers and hired a new office support <br />specialist. <br />• Implemented new officer mentoring program. <br />• Reviewed officer areas of responsibility and identified an officer to take over duties <br />as the department evidence room technician. Identified a new community <br />engagement officer. <br />• Implemented eCharging of felony cases in Ramsey County. <br />• New DWI e-search warrant in both Hennepin and Ramsey Counties <br />• New data collection process for in house RMS <br />• New Community Engagement supervisor (Sgt. Huddle). <br />• Made progressive changes to the way in which we collect data (RMS). <br />• One officer earned the BCA Supervision and Management certificate (completion of <br />seven required courses). <br />• Two sergeants attended the CLEO and Command Academy. Certifications received. <br />• Entire department completed anti-bias training. <br />• Established an internal body warn camera study group, made up of police officers, to <br />research and assess available and viable camera system technology appropriate for <br />patrol deployment. <br />
