City Hall <br />2014 Annual Report · Administration · St. Anthony Village, Minnesota <br />Electronic Message Sign <br />Located at City Hall, the electronic message sign provides an avenue for the City, <br />School Board, and other affi liated associations to communicate messages to residents. <br />Upcoming meetings, events, or notices are projected utilizing the message board <br />technology to keep the community informed at all times. <br />CTV <br />CTV is a non-profi t organization operated by the North Suburban Access Corporation <br />and provides a station with programming created by the City of St. Anthony, for the <br />City of St. Anthony. Residents of St. Anthony have access to this public, educational <br />and government channel, which provides notices, updates, and live and recorded <br />broadcasting of all public meetings. <br />In addition the City of St. Anthony relies on CTV for staffi ng our Cable Operator <br />position. By having CTV provide this service, it gives the City of St. Anthony <br />consistency in the Cable Operator position. <br />Carousel <br />In 2014, the City of St. Anthony upgraded the City’s information channel to Carousel <br />which is part of a web-centric digital signage suite. The web foundation of the <br />software allows fl exibility when designing pages for the channel. <br />Laserfi che <br />In 2014, the City of St. Anthony implemented Laserfi che. The City has scanned <br />all of the residential house fi les and staff is now able to access this information <br />electronically. In addition to the address fi les, staff has archived City Council <br />documents including agendas, minutes and resolutions. This project will continue to <br />progress with each year going forward being archived. <br />Twitter <br />The City launched a Twitter page in 2013 and by the end of 2014 has grown to 122 <br />followers. The mission of Twitter continues to be a fast and effective way to reach <br />residents and property owners within the City with important notices, emergency <br />information, and other messages. Look for items such as Salo Park Concert Series, <br />Holidays, Clean Up Day and other special events. The City’s twitter account is @ <br />cityofstanthony. <br />Project Information Sheets <br />In 2014, the City began publishing Project Information Sheets for larger projects <br />that are taking place within the City of St. Anthony. These information sheets <br />provide residents the project needs, project description, project goals, construction <br />costs, completion timeframe, funding sources and photos of the project. The Project <br />Information Sheets are available electronically via the City’s website and paper copies <br />are available at City Hall.
