Core Functions <br />2014 Annual Report · Public Works Department · St. Anthony Village, Minnesota <br />FINANCIAL REPORTING <br />Internal <br />Following up on the 2012 conversion to Caselle Civic accounting software the Finance <br />department rolled out the “Dashboard” feature. Through this module, internal reporting <br />eff ectively moved to real time and network access. Staff uses this tool to review paid <br />invoice information, and view their budget versus actual status on a line item level or <br />department wide level. This provides the Department Heads with the fi nancial information <br />required to manage their resources effi ciently. <br />External <br />The Finance Department is responsible for reporting fi nancial information to numerous <br />outside agencies through the year, including but not limited to: <br />Community supportive <br />The Finance Department conducts an annual review of <br />the fi nancial recordkeeping for the St. Anthony Chamber <br />of Commerce. The review covers the accounting <br />records, bank transactions, and board of directors <br />reporting.
