City Council Regular Meeting Minutes <br />February 13, 2018 <br />Page 4 <br /> <br /> <br />The savings to the City would be 4-7% annually on energy savings. There are 240 lights to be 1 <br />converted. The project should be completed by the end of February as it has already started. 2 <br /> 3 <br />Councilmember Stille reminded the residents this is an Xcel project rather than a City project. 4 <br /> 5 <br />Mr. Hartman stated the City received an award for the AOP Water Treatment plant. 6 <br />Councilmember Jenson stated this project only took one and a half years to complete. Mayor Pro 7 <br />Tem Gray thanked City Staff for their work on the AOP plant. 8 <br /> 9 <br />F. Snow and Ice Control Policies and Procedures. 10 <br /> 11 <br />Public Works Director Jay Hartman and Public Works Superintendent Jeremy Gumke presented 12 <br />a power point reviewing St. Anthony Village Snow and Ice Control policies and procedures. 13 <br />There are approximately 15 city-wide plowings done in a typical year. The procedures were 14 <br />explained by Mr. Gumke in detail. Mr. Casey reviewed the public notification 15 <br /> 16 <br />Councilmember Jenson asked when plowing starts and Mr. Gumke stated the trucks are deployed 17 <br />about 30 minutes before the anticipated end of the snow event. The whole operation takes 4-5 18 <br />hours. 19 <br /> 20 <br />Councilmember Stille stated there was just a major event that kept going and going. Mr. Gumke 21 <br />stated the January 16 was one of the largest snow events that occurred in many years. There were 22 <br />two full city clean-ups done after that event. 23 <br /> 24 <br />Mayor Pro Tem asked that this presentation be put on the website. Mr. Casey stated all 25 <br />presentations can be found on the website. 26 <br /> 27 <br />G. Update on Sunday Liquor Sales. 28 <br /> 29 <br />Liquor Operations Manager Mike Larson and Assistant Liquor Operations Manager Kevin 30 <br />Morelli provided a power point presentation update of the Sunday Liquor Sales. 31 <br /> 32 <br />Councilmember Stille stated the Sunday convenience sales are not a surprise. The stores are 33 <br />profitable. The Sunday sales should continue to be monitored. 34 <br /> 35 <br />H. Ways to Connect with Liquor Operations. 36 <br /> 37 <br />Liquor Operations Manager Mike Larson and Assistant Liquor Operations Manager Kevin 38 <br />Morelli provided a power point presentation showing Ways to Connect with St. Anthony Village 39 <br />Liquor Operations.
