2016 Strategic Plan • St. Anthony Village, Minnesota <br /> <br /> <br />Introduction | 2 <br />INTRODUCTION <br />HIGHLIGHTS <br />The City of Saint Anthony is widely respected as a cohesive group that works well together as a <br />team, shares mutual respect, and understands roles and responsibilities. The City Council and staff <br />share a great sense of pride in working together for the best interests of the citizens of the <br />community. The work sessions are recognized for positive, healthy and productive discussions. <br />Each individual opinion is respected and all ideas are welcome. This is an important priority and <br />post session feedback reinforced this outcome for the discussions that took place. <br />THE TEAM <br />City leaders in Saint Anthony Village conducted a Strategic Planning & Goal Setting Workshop on <br />January 14 and 15, 2016. Participants included: <br />• Mayor Jerry Faust <br />• Councilmember Bonnie Brever <br />• Councilmember Hal Gray <br />• Councilmember Jan Jenson <br />• Councilmember Randy Stille <br />• City Manager Mark Casey <br />• City Clerk Nicole Miller <br />• Finance Director Shelly Rueckert <br />• Fire Chief Mark Sitarz <br />• Liquor Operation Manager Mike Larson <br />• Police Chief John Ohl <br />• Public Works Director Jay Hartman <br />• Planning Commission Chair Jim Gondorchin <br />• Parks Commission Chair Scott Benz <br />• City Engineer Todd Hubmer <br />• City Planner Breanne Rothstein <br />• Human Resources Charlie Yunker <br />• Finance Consultant Stacie Kvilvang <br />• City Attorney Jay Lindgren <br />• Facilitator Bruce Miles <br /> <br />Also, in attendance were Heather Corcoran from the League of Minnesota Cities, Laura Honeck, <br />League of Minnesota Cities Insurance Trust, Charlie Vander Aarde, Metro Cities and Kevin <br />McCann, City Administrator for the City of Gaylord. <br /> <br /> <br />Our Mission is to <br />be a progressive and <br />livable community, a <br />walkable Village, <br />which is sustainable, <br />safe and secure.
